HOW TO CREATE A KASHMIRI TEA

To make a traditional cup of Kashmiri tea, also known as "Noon Chai," you will need:

  • 2 cups of water
  • 2 cups of whole milk
  • 1/2 cup of pink Himalayan salt tea leaves
  • 2 tablespoons of green cardamom powder
  • 2 tablespoons of ground almonds
  • 2 tablespoons of sugar (or to taste)

Instructions:

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a pot.
  2. Add the tea leaves and reduce the heat to low.
  3. Stir in the milk, cardamom powder, and ground almonds.
  4. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Sweeten to taste with sugar, and serve hot. 6.You may also garnish with some chopped almonds, or Pistachios.

Note: Pink Himalayan salt tea leaves are traditional but you can use green tea leaves as well
